Still though, I remember my days carrying 2 tons of vinyl, getting my fingers dusty and coughing up a lung, searching for months in record stores just to find that perfect beat. Best believe...I love that too.S o now I present to you this mixtape. STILL NONSTOP - Original Live Part 2.
A nice little ode to an art form that is getting appreciated less and less in this day of mp3s, auto sync and cue points.
A return to something I loved doing and STILL love doing - collecting vinyl, finding original samples... the building blocks of my favorite hip hop songs, Putting it back together with my own aesthetic , and performing it LIVE.
This was recorded in one shot - no cue buttons to push, no relative mode to stop the needle skips... and if its not on wax, it's not on this tape.
